Scrapbooking | July Catch Up

Here are the layouts I've shared on my social media over the last couple of weeks... ad This one was for Skull and Cross Buns recent appearance on HOCHANDA TV. Snippets from a  colourful layout.  (Not shared in full due to the photos scrapped.) Ad  A fun gift wrap and card set using the latest Lollipop Box Club kit.  You can read more about this project here: https://www.lollipopboxclub.com/quick-card-gift-wrap-with-laura/ A watercolour sky with heat embossed aeroplanes. You can catch the process video for this here: https://youtu.be/mUQ_YWsPKXw And lastly a layout made from start to finish...  I drew the dot mandala in procreate, designed a few other printable pieces (labels, tabs, title and patterned paper layers) printed them on our home printer and created this. I then went through all my SpiegelMom sequin mixes and pulled out matching colours to make a custom sequin mix to embellish with.

Scrap Academy

Today in my Scrap Academy lesson I take you through journalling with mixed alphas.  I'm the first to admit that journalling is my weakest subject but there will be much more inspiration through the week.  It's a great group if you are looking to get started in scrapbooking or to expand your knowledge.  I won't talk about the lesson here in this blog post but I'll share the photos and the link... My layout uses a fun frame cut file that I have designed along with seven fonts/alphas. The layout tells of the frustration of a lockdown birthday and not being able to play "parcel parcel" or Pass The Parcel as we adults wrongly call it! Here's a link to the video if you are not on Facebook: Video link https://youtu.be/O0MQ_CA3JEI   Here's the group if you are: here

Scrapping For Fun

After what feels like forever a 'create share create share create share' mentality I've taken some time out to just play.  I love these two layouts.  The colours, the textures, the freedom they were created with. This second layout is based on sketch 1 from Lottie Loves Paper's Summer Sketch Challenge.
