WOYWW 158

On my desk this week...

some lovely ribbon from the lovely Ali
It's the beginnings of a necklace, I think, a choker style, I think, but we'll see what it turns out to be...

I thought I'd share the ATC's from the WOYWW anniversary swap...

Huge thank yous to the ladies who swapped with me.

This one is from Sandee

and a lovely card...

This one is from Helen

This little dumfling is from Jo

This one is from Janet

And finally one from Kate

It was so lovely to come back from my holiday and have a little pile of ATC's to open and admire!  Thank you ladies and thank you to Julia for the whole desk hopping madness that is WOYWW!

  2. It's always lovely to come home after a holiday, no matter how good it was, and even better when you have some beautiful ATCs waiting for you. Bet the first thing you did when you came in was open the post - it's what I do.

  4. Liking the necklace. I more or less gave up on that sort of thing when the kids were small and grabbed at anything - just little stud earings for me and they are 15 and 19! Maybe one day I'll go back to it, but I doubt it. :)

Love the ATCs too - what a bounty this week!

  10. Hi Laura - great ATCs and your desk looks all set for an operation :) I see you've got a sticky ended picker upper thingy. I have one and despite carefully washing it it's not too good at picking up stuff. Am I doing something wrong? Happy WOYWW! Di xx

  17. That choker is going to be rather sexy given the range of colours you have ready!! It looks amazing.... I LOVE glittery beads, ooooh yes, and this is the reason why I can't allow myself to get into beadwork, I'd just want to riffle my fingers through them and never use any!!!

  28. You really did get some fabulous ATC's, just gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you do with the beads.
I had a look at the bird pencil site that you sent me. How crazy is that, special pencils for parrots. I will have to see if they sell them here in Australia, they might keep him away from mine for a little while.
    Have a great week.

  31. Madness indeed. Offset by the calm and ordered way you're working....I love that you can sit down to something so complicated without having decided where it's going...skill.

I'm delighted that you want to swap ATCs with me - I'll email you my addy.

Sorry to be so long responding but I've been having problems with my comments awaiting moderation not being visible - it turns out it's a Blogger/Firefox problem since the latest Firefox upgrade, so I'm temporarily using IE till they sort it out - hopefully soon!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
