I didn't make it last week but I'm determined to join in again his week! Hop over to Julia's to see a bucket load of creative desks. Most won't be as messy as mine but hey ho!
At the moment I have enough energy for ideas but not for making said ideas, so there are lots of notebooks, lists and half-mades on my desk and bed. It's times likes this I'm so very grateful to have a desk that is not used for other things. I can at least keep things out so if energy arrives I can do even two minutes of crafting without having to get out and put away as well.
Thanks for stopping by...
Hi there, thanks for letting me peek into your creative world this morning. Your desk is pretty neat, especially compared to mine at the moment!

Hi Laura,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment on my blog : )
I hope you find the energy to make all your ideas soon x
Hi Laura, You could always blame Billy:)
ReplyDeleteNice busy desk, Laura. It's so nice not to have to keep puttng things away, isn't it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment. Ha ha! 1.57 a.m. - the night is still young, my dear! I'm often up till 4 a.m. It's definitely an M.E. thing. This morning I didn't get up till noon. It doesn't really matter because the length of my day is the same as everyone else's - it's just in a different time zone - I often think I should emigrate to America and then I'd be back in sync again!
Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi
I love those little drawers in the background, they're ace.Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #107
ReplyDeleteLovely busy desk and I see lots of tags in the queue there :0) Is the baby powder for crafting purposes, or shouldn't I ask? ;0)) Mo
ReplyDeleteHaha!! I'm not the tidiest of people especailly with glue. The baby powder makes sticky things unsticky so I use it on my fingers, work surface, scrap pages etc.

Pretty butterflies there, and such lovely shaped tags... I'm sure the energy will strike soon, and it's all ready and waiting for you when it does! Happy WOYWW!

looks like you have the makings of some good stuff.... it is so difficult when you dont have quite enough energy to get things done, I know how that feels at the moment

Hi there! Pleased to see you on WOYWW. I joined last week so this is the first time I have seen you. I am the same at the mo - lots of ideas but not enough time to do them! Have a great weekend. Happy WOYWW Laura #51
ReplyDeleteOh I hate that when the time, energy and ideas don't all line up at once! Like you said though, how nice you have a desk that you can just leave it sprawled out on so you can work on things when the timing is right. I feel for those people who craft at the dining tables--if that were me there would be lots of picnics on the floor!!!!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! Your desk is looking like mine usually does! Teehee! Mine is not usually so tidy as it is...this tidiness is just an experiment! We shall see if it works ey!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
xx
The tags in progress look good -- I like the die cut butterfly piece. Hope you had a happy WOYWW -- thanks for popping over to my blog already. ~ Laura #108

The drawers are full of 100's of buttons, Shaz.
DeleteRed handle = red buttons, silver handle = metal buttons, no handles = erm... haven't got around to sorting those boxes yet!! ;)

Ah..I love your work space....so wonderfully messy!! It gave me giggles that the tapes/ribbons are on the paper towel roll and the paper towels are just hanging around...a true artist!!
