I wanted to document how proud I am of my little cousin so I dedicated this layout to her hockey achievements. Again using stash from my counterfeit kit from March it all came together quickly and enjoyably...
And another layout with kit supplies...
I used some of the disaster cardstock that was salvaged from the last layout. Again I managed to use some punctuation brads. Really pleased that by putting them in the kit I have made myself use them.
And just to make the journalling clear... 'Ponytail extensions? No this is Bobby the Budgie playing whilst I craft. Sweet gentle budgie kisses and tiny footsteps across my neck, grooming my hair as he goes.' He was just a baby here, and such a gentle budgie - makes me realise just how bite-y my current Budgie Billy is!! I shall have to have words with her! :)
Thanks for stopping by
Loving the LOs.
ReplyDeleteHad to smile at Bobby:)
Wow they both look great, love the doodling and the way you used up that paper that you dreaded so much :)
ReplyDeleteOh my how sweet is that! I used to have a budgie that was VERY bitey and kept drawing blood :-( LONG time ago though!
ReplyDeleteLove both the pages, but especially liking their layering, use of staples and the grungy doodling. Off to check out the story behind the disaster cardstock ...
Oh my goodness, I had no idea what a "budgie" was! LOL! I literally "googled" it before I commented! That's sweet. Both layouts are fabulous, but I especially like the bunting garland on the first one.
