Here is my first layout with my January Counterfeit Kit. I've got to say, I love it! There is no light here at all, it's so dull and dreary, so the photos are not the best. I need some low light photography tips!!
It's so simple and sparse but still has enough to excite my eyes. I've used a good amount of stickers - big tick!
The clouds and heart are from Things That Shine and the seam binding is from Crafty Ribbons. (Crafty Ribbons are having a design team call - if you love working with ribbons please drop us a line. All the details can be found here!)
These butterfly stickers have been in my stash for years. I remember buying them at The Craft Barn but can't work out exactly which year. They have to be more than 10 years old. Only two left now. That makes me happy!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Fab LO. Hope those teeth don't cause too much pain.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good day. Sue
He did test them on my thumb! :)
DeleteIt's a miserable time for him but he is so good. He has a few more now. X
Such pretty butterflies! I would have hoarded them too. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the touch of color with the heart. Great design and cute. I have the same issue in PA with lack of natural light. It was worse yesterday and I wasted an hour trying to get a good photograph before I gave up. Today's was marginally better. Good luck with the teething. Have a great day!
Great shot Laura! Love the layout the first teeth is truly the fin layout to do for our kids/grandkids :)
ReplyDeleteCute layout. The gold vellum is such a nice accent and the butterflies are yummy.

Great page - you are right there is just enough to keep the page interesting in details but not distracting from the photo.
ReplyDeleteAh that's a fab layout!
ReplyDeleteReally cute page! I love the pretty mix of butterflies and clouds. The bit of gold is really lovely.
ReplyDeleteExtra points for old stash! :) Those gold butterflies are gorgeous, and what a great photo - tough to get.
