Here are a couple of layouts made with the wonderful Like For Ever March kit.
My one remaining grandparent has been a little poorly recently and it has made me all sentimental. I pulled out photos of all of my grandparents to scrap. Ladies first...
The first is made entirely from the kits contents.
Wonkily cut mustard paper - that way on purpose!
Buttons always remind me of my Grandmothers! There were a good handful of buttons with the kit :)
I fashioned the sequins and a button with offcuts of lace and tulle in to a little rosette and added it along with a party hat die cut to a glittered tag.
Doesn't the lace tape look gorgeous?!
The second layout was done with Mrs A's Butterfly challenge in mind. I've added 2 rolls of washi tape and some wood butterflies from That Craft Place to the kit contents. I felt the black alphas from the kit were too harsh so switched to brown and mustard from my stash.
Washi tape corners, sequin and button flowers, laser cut butterflies...
along with some stunning papers... (Look! I'm not hoarding them!!)
I am in love with the big gold paperclips and wood butterflies!
So three layouts in and I am SO happy I subscribed to LFE!!
Thanks for stopping by!
I really love your mustard yellow one... it genuinely made me look twice on my bloglovin feed! It's so fun and retro and kind of... well, all the good things about lovely old ladies: nice job! x
ReplyDeleteWonderful layouts. I love it when I do layouts and they make me remember times and the fun people in our lives. I made some here while back for my son and daughter as they were growing up. Oh those fun memories just made me smile.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scrap pages! I particularly like the second one with the garden theme - I love the butterflies! Thank you for joining the Butterfly Challenge! I like how you interpreted our C for Corners theme!

ReplyDeleteHope you've had a good day. Sue
These are lovely layouts. I especially like the one you have done for my Butterfly challenge not only for the butterflies of course but the lovely garden photo. My garden is my second home! Thankyou for fluttering by my # 27. Hugs Mrs A.
