I was rather struck by a sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy, and this is what happened...
All of the supplies are from like for ever's Wish List kit, plus a few sequins from my stash.
I trimmed the wood veneer as the arrow was pointing the wrong way. They are very easy to cut, and I added a bit of inktense pencil to the cut edge to darken it. I stuck a pin to the back to make a little flag. I trimmed out a couple of reindeer - I just love this sheet of patterned paper! (I have/had five sheets!!)
The background is a beautiful combination of art bars, Shimmerz, inktense pencils and embossed cardstock. I try to photograph the shimmer every time I use shimmerz - I'm yet to catch on camera what I see in real life.
I decided I needed to stitch the large alphas down. Rather than just one lonely line of stitching I added a few lines - the paper doesn't need the stitching to hold it down, but I like the effect.

Another fab LO Kath.
