Huge excitement over here... I have been invited to be guest designer for like for ever this month. This in itself is beyond belief but then to find out that the kit would be featuring Cocoa Vanilla products... well, they are just my favourite company ever. It couldn't be any better! I am one lucky girl. So I thought I'd better make some knock out projects...
First up I made this tiny-mini-album-tin-keep-sake to celebrate a friends wedding.
I've written about it on the like for ever blog here.
I had a little problem getting the album out of the tin but this was easily solved by adding a ribbon tab to the base of the tin. A little tug on the ribbon and it pops out.
The happy couple are a photographer and a glass work bead maker. I made a charm to reflect this using beads made by the bride - the fabulous Rebecca Weddell - and a wooden camera from Cocoa Vanilla.
The tin that holds the album came with a magazine as a freebie. It had a small tape measure in it. I'm always looking to use things in 'other' ways though, and think it makes the perfect house for an album.
To finish off the tin I added so coordinating ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.
To see more of Rebecca's beads go here...
I have more projects to be shared throughout the month (until the 20th of December)
like for ever are a UK based online scrapbooking shop and kit club. If you join you get a monthly box of perfectly coordinated scrappy goodies and an awesome group of fellow subscribers to chat and share with on facebook.
No wedding is complete without a string of bunting!!
And a final close up of the charm...
