Friday Smiles

I love to watch the colour of a flower change.  The colour when it first flowers is rarely the same as the fourth or fifth day, and never the same as a fallen petal.  I watched these beautiful pale pink tulips change to dark pink with a blue tinge and white edges.

If you fancy having a go at a 35 piece jigsaw puzzle of this photo pop over here

  1. Hi Laura, It's sad when flowers in a vase drop their petals as that means they they will thrown out soon.

Hope you have a fab Friday. Sue

  2. Love the photo Laura and I've even done the jigsaw :-) It took me 8 mins 32 secs [prob the first 5 mins was spent working out how to move and turn the pieces hehehe]. Thanks for my morning chuckle.

  3. That's lovely. Max bought me almost blue tulips for Mother's day and as they faded they went from dusky lilac to mauve - really pretty. x Jo

  4. I love this photo! Your photography skills are amazing. Enjoy your weekend, Pat

  5. What a beautiful photo! Yes, you are right, the colours change with time.
Thank you for the jigsaw. It took me 9:01 minutes (Annie was faster).
    Have a great week,

  6. I did the puzzle in 7.51 minutes. What a fun idea. I love the photo. Tulip petals are like silk, and that fades in the sunlight too! Kate x

  7. So much colour and beauty in one small petal. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous photograph.
Have a great weekend with lots of smiles, Angela x

  8. I was out all day today and just got home. I learned something new today. I had NO idea flower colors changed so dramatically over time. As always, your photo was incredible. Again, sorry I was late visiting today. Have a fabulous weekend.

  9. As cluttered as my house is I love the clean lines and simplicity of photography like this.
    Well done it's fab xx
