You know I am a big fan of ribbon and using ribbon in scrapbooking... so I was delighted when Crafty Ribbons agreed to sponsor a challenge UK Scrap Addicts are running to cleebrateNational Scrapbooking Day. You can find the details over here but have a little look at this first...
I made this layout for barely any money. People (me included!) get so caught up in the new products and pretty supplies and sometimes the consumerism takes over the scrapping. This is made from the front cover of a catalogue (Sea Salt), tissue paper (that came around some china trinkets), a few sequins, a paper clip and a bit of ribbon.
The embellishments are fussy cut from the paper.
As is the title. I attached it with a couple of stitches.
Isn't the pattern fabulous?
The ribbon comes in the form of 3mm grosgrain tied to the paperclip and cotton twill used as a layer behind the photo - both from Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for stopping by!
