I know it's only just Autumn but if you aim to make all your Christmas cards you really need to have started by now... there, that's my justification for sharing snowy cards in September!
I bought this adorable penguin stamp from Skull and Cross Buns last year. It's a 'proper' rubber stamp - wood mounted and good rubber. That is my favourite kind of stamp. I know clear stamps are easier to store and easier to use and there are so many more techniques that can be done with them... but for me, there's nothing like the feeling and finish of a good rubber stamp!
I've used a selection of Distress Oxide inks for the stamping and ink blending on the card base. I then fished out some puffy paint from a Glittery Hands Box - I forget which month's box - and added some snow.
I haven't added any sentiments. I may do before sending them but sometimes it's nice to have Christmas cards that aren't too cheery... I feel awkward sending a card saying Happy Christmas to someone who is deep in grief.
