Pretty My Page | Wonky Fair Isle

Today I am using the Wonky Fair Isle cut file.  This is the third of three new cut files designed by me available at Pretty My Page as either pre-cuts or as a download.

I have used Pinkfresh Studio’s Home For The Holidays collection for this layout.  (Stock up here!)  Rather than backing the main shapes (the trees and the stars) I opted to back the area around them.  I did back the reindeer though.  After much searching I found some cork to back them.  I’m short on brown papers that have a warm tone, my kraft was too grey-ish.  The cork adds an extra texture too.

I created a little cluster and title using various pieces of ephemera, stickers and a word cut from a patterned paper, piecing together a title of “Christmas sweater magic”.   I embellished with some pale blue enamel dots and shiny gold sequins.
