Laura Rumble - Crafter

In 'Mermaid Treasures', the newest collection from StickerKitten , there are two stamp sets.  One has larger mermaid stamps and the other a variety of smaller sea creatures .  Amongst the second set are a few shoals of fish... I love them!  And I think they look really effective stamped en masse like this.  Of course, they look good in a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks - everything looks great in rainbow colour! I popped the sentiment up on a layer of black card, and popped that up from the card.  I'm using 1mm foam pads so it is still slim enough to go through the post without any trouble. For this fortnight at the Craft Barns Alpha Challenge the letter is A .  After reading all the A's in my dictionary and making a list I decided to do Archer Fish.     It's quite a plain spread this time, not much design involved.     Here's the science bit... And a close up of Mr Fish.  I don't think I have ever drawn a fish before.  I struggled to get the scales and the translucent-ness accurate.  I learned a lot though and will definitely try more fish in the future...
