Laura Rumble - Crafter

It is challenge tome at Crafty Ribbons Challenges .  We are continuing with our twelve weeks of Christmas and this weeks challenge is to use a reindeer as well as ribbon on your project. I whipped up a tag to be pegged to the top of a gift bag.  I don't like to seal them with tape as it makes it harder to re use the bags, but I also don't like peeping before the big day!! The mdf reindeer is from That Craft Place, the label is from Evalicious, and ribbon and bells from Crafty Ribbons. Here are a couple of layouts made with the wonderful Like For Ever March kit. My one remaining grandparent has been a little poorly recently and it has made me all sentimental.  I pulled out photos of all of my grandparents to scrap.  Ladies first... The first is made entirely from the kits contents. Wonkily cut mustard paper - that way on purpose! Buttons always remind me of my Grandmothers!  There were a good handful of buttons with the kit :) I fashioned the sequins and a button with offcuts of lace and tulle in to a little rosette and added it along with a party hat die cut to a glittered tag. Doesn't the lace tape look gorgeous?! The second layout was done with Mrs A's Butterfly challenge in mind.  I've added 2 rolls of washi tape and some wood butterflies from That Craft Place to the kit contents.  I felt the black alphas from the kit were too harsh so switched to brown and mustard from my stash.
