Last month I shared a layout made with the Pansy cut file from Pretty My Page . I had one extra pansy cut left over which I made in to a card... I added some Shimmerz spray to the background, cut some wonky shapes to fill in the pansy and leaf apertures and stamped a greeting. I nestled the pansy cluster on some tangled thread and embellished with sequins. But I STILL was not done with that cut file. As I removed the cuts from my sticky mat I noticed that the negatives left behind were just as pretty as the positives. I used a piece of transfer tape to save the negatives to use on the background of another layout. I started off my background with texture paste and the blossom stencil . (Psst, the stencil is currently in the sale!) I added water colour and more stencilling in layers until I liked what I had.
