Scraptember January Stash Bash | Die Cuts

My name is Laura and I have a problem with die cuts.  Well, cut files really... I cut too many of them, more than I can use and so consequently I have oodles of them in a box. This month Scraptember are running the January Stash Bash and today is the day to bust out the die cuts.  I am busting this gorgeous camera mesh cut file from Pretty My Page as well as using metal dies to create my title. Photo Op

I have another super simple scrapbook layout for Pretty My Page to share today.   It’s not that I’m skimping on my design team duties... it’s just that these background cut files keep doing all the work for me! I’m working with the camera mesh cut file which I have cut on navy blue cardstock.   I’ve premade my background spraying some Minc reactive mist on to a white 12x12.   I left this overnight to dry and then ran it through my Minc foiling machine with some mint green foil. I used a little glue to add the cameras to the background but to add extra texture (and be extra safe) I ran a line of wide zig-zag stitching through the middle of each camera using a white thread.   I added the photo and my title using chipboard thickers.   I had to do a little alpha surgery – did you know two F’s can make an H?   It’s worth looking at your sheet of half-used alphas with a curious eye.   Most letters can be adapted in some way t...
