Friday Smiles

I snapped this a few weeks back - a cheeky springy lamb leaping out of the chicken shed, which I'm sure he shouldn't have been in in the first place!  Such a pickle.  Such a time waster.  I watched them for hours... Linking up at Friday Smiles

Aw, look at the ducks!!

My pet crocheter has been a busy bee...  These are for my brother and sister-in-law who have just had a baby.  See, there's a Daddy one, a Mummy one and a baby one!  :) Sharing at Annie's Friday Smiles :)

Mini Madness Monday I

I have a few Mini Albums to share so I've decided to I'll share one at a time for a month of Mondays, so welcome to Mini Madness Monday I... I found a little memory card holder in Paperchase.  It told me it wanted to be a scrap book though... So I transformed it: And I had so much fun doing it!  Half a rub on, flowers, a brad and a tag with ribbon for the front cover.  Inside it started with a little accordion folding to make the pages... It's quite small so not much room for layering or embellishing - I gathered some of my smallest pieces, quite a few were little post it notes. The rest of the embellishing came from doodling with a black fineliner. And here is the other side:  I used some rub on butterflies and my black pen to jazz up the back. I'm so pleased with how it turned out - my holiday captured in a little case :) I'd like to enter this at:  Make My Monday - anything but a card...

Run Ducky Run!

On my summer holiday I totally fell in love with these ducks.  They were Indian Runners.  (Random fact - so was Jemima Puddleduck.)  I spent most of my time next to the window and they would keep me entertained by running past.  Of course, I needed to scrap them...   I used my dymo.  Stuck on a sprinkling of sequins. Used a duck paperclip - I think paperclips are my new obsession! I decided the best way to show how they ran in a line was several photos cut and put together.  It was impossible to get all the ducks in one photo and you couldn't use the panoramic setting as they were running too fast!! And a close up of the painty-texturey goodness I used as a photo mat. Love them.  I now want a garden big enough to have some ducks of my own!  :) I'd like to share this at: Crazy Challenge - summer - my summer holiday Thanks for stopping by
