Chococo

Here is a post first published last week on SpiegelMom Scraps blog... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For my third guest designer project for SpiegelMom Scraps I promised you a mini album... and here it is! I had a wonderful lunch at a chocolate cafe and thought it would make a lovely mini album, so I collected a few bits and pieces from the cafe.  I picked up the chocolate menu, and kept some cellophane wrapping and tissue paper used to wrap up my purchases, and the companies ribbon that was used to tie the package.  I also kept the paper bag and the label from Mum's tea bag. The plan was to build a little kit around the collected ephemera, so I searched my paper and washi stash for matching colours.  Serendipitously the ribbon in SpiegelMom Scraps Etsy shop were the perfect colours. I added cork shapes and wood veneers to my mini kit, and enough sequins for them to feature on every page....

Fancy Cheese!

Here is a scrap layout made with Like For Ever 's April kit... I added a few little bits to my kit such as paper clips (the obsession is still going!) enamel dots and the pink plastic.  It was a catalogue wrapper that came in the post.  It was just too pretty to chuck out! And yes, I did scrap a page about cheese.  Cheese makes me happy!! Linking at Creativity Unleashed .

love today

Here is a fun layout I made with my Silhouette Cameo and Like For Ever kit . It is such a fun cut file from The Cut Shoppe , really all I had to do was use scraps of my patterned papers to back each heart, and bam!  The page was done! I used a little paperclip from doodlebug and a scrap of plastic wrapping that had gold stars on.  Everything else was in my April kit. So fun to make. Full Colour

Remember seeing this on my desk about a month ago?  Well it is now fully coloured. And doesn't it look stonking?!  I made it in to this layout... It didn't really need much adding to it as it is quite busy in its own right.  I wanted to subdue the background where the photo was, but not to block it out completely - step in plastic wrapping from a bunch of flowers! Then to the alphas... well I tried to pull in as many colours as possible.  When I had finished the title I decided it needed some purple.  I don't have any purple alphas so I had a look through my purple embellishments and settled on the arrow paperclip. This may be my favourite layout...  I am on the look out for more 12x12 sheets I can colour in! Thanks for stopping by.
