This month it's Creative Embellishments . For this layout, I picked out my photo and chipboard first. The photo is of my nephew reading his newspaper. He is loving learning and breaks out the alphabet or some counting at any opportunity! I gave my chipboard a quick coat of white gesso. When that was dry I painted on some Shimmerz Dazzlerz in alternating colours. The layer of white helps the colours to stay vibrant. I loosened up some of the lemon drop yellow paste by mixing it with water and used the packaging technique to smoosh some colour on the background. The cut file has been in my stash waiting to be used, I believe it is from Cocoa Daisy. Then come the awesome SpiegelMom sequins... I've mixed What's Up Buttercup ...
