It's my final contribution to the Crafty Ribbon Advent Celebration today. (The girls will have more for you tomorrow...) You have another three days to add your name to all the linkys so even if you have only just found us you can still be in with a chance of winning the prize from day 1 - if you get in quick! Today I have a handmade button garland. I've seen similar around in shops and garden centres. Waaay too expensive to buy though and super simple to make. I just used some garden string (liberated from the shed a few years back, now happily living in my craft room!) and tied buttons on at roughly regular intervals. To make it a little extra special I covered a few white star buttons in gold leaf. I have used a combination of these buttons... vintage , stars , autumn , green flash , right royal .
