Scrapbooking | Love This

I was inspired by stash busting on Facebook to create this layout. I've used supplies from last November's Crafty Templates custom card kit and enamel dots and hearts from my stash. I recently blitzed my white card scraps.  I patch worked them together using my sewing machine and created 6 sheets of 12x12.  Ready made backgrounds with texture and interest perfect for creating clean and simple layouts on... although this one wasn't as CAS as I could go! I added in a few tangles of white thread to tie in the background sewing. Thanks for stopping by!

Epic Easter Post!

I'm squeezing all of this years Easter creations in to this post... First up this little scene feayuring stamps from Skull and Cross Buns, distress oxide inks and a bunny shaped cookie cutter. Such a fun piece to create!  Next up cards and stamped images... These are made using new Skull and Cross Buns stamp sets and the new Card Kit. The card kit is a new venture for SACB and I think it is great value.  I still have plenty left for more creations. Let's face it.  These stamps are just plain cute!  I ran out of time to make them all into Easter cards for this year. And finally an Ester banner... This banner template is a digital downlaod from Prettty My Page.  I've cut it on card that matched the colours of acrylic emnellishments in the SACB card kit. I kept them embellishing fairly simple, just nestling the acrlic on to a thread tangle and popping a few sequins around the pennants. I'll be loathed to ta...

NSD Be Cray!

I have been using all my energy on NSD (National Scrapbooking Day) for the last couple of weeks.  Sourcing prizes and sponsors, making graphics and samples, drafting posts and brainstorming.  I'm knackered! Any way, what I mean to say is I have quite a lot of creations I haven't yet shared so get ready for a slew of posts! Today I am on the Glittery Hands Box blog with this layout... Please pop over and hae a look.  While you are there check out the previous post which is also one of my creations... I've loved the first kit of my DT term.  Right now I'm counting down the days to the next box!

Daisy

Ah, desk layouts... you are so fun!  I have been procrastinating tidying my desk for a few weeks.  I took it one step further by deciding to make a layout with items from my desktop only.  I shove stuff on my desk all the time - packaging, mail shots with nice colours, ephemera/sweets wrappers, extra cameo cuts etc. I have a few bits of lace near my craft mat all the time - today it was some cotton Morlaix and some viscose Volcan in mint.  I also pulled a few offcuts of sheer Swiss dots ribbon . I added some flicks of ink to the background and I'm happy with how it has turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

Animals: Just SO You

It is new challenge day at Crafty Ribbons Challenges .  The theme is Animals so I have scrapped a page of Naughty Bun after her bath! I am on mission use-up-the-gold-rub-ons-before-they-go-off, so I added a camera and a generous sprinkling of hearts.  I made a little rosette with a couple of buttons and ribbon tails. The rabbit shape and the rabbit card are packaging from a graze box.  I knew as soon as I saw it I had to use it somehow! This is made using sheer Swiss dots and buttons from Crafty Ribbons.  I'd love for you to join us here with an animal project using ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Tag - Crafty Ribbons Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my stop on the Crafty Ribbons Easter blog hop !  You should have arrived here from the lovely Cebelica's blog... My creation is an Easter tag.  I've used lace and bunny silhouette ribbon in baby maize and lime juice from Crafty Ribbons .  My Pet Crocheter whipped up a little bunny from some cotton yarn too.  Your next stop on the hop is Carole ... oh, and I believe you'll be needing this I to help you solve the anagram! Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!

Friday Smiles

This little bunny is naughty. This naughty bunny dug in the mud. This muddy bunny needed a bath. These bathed bunny paws are as clean as they will get! Linking at Annie's Friday Smiles  and Penny's Happy Friday

Easter Wreath

I find Easter a hard occasion to craft for.  To me Easter is a religious time, not a commercialised chocolate and bunny festival.  I've tried hard to top my Easter Garden project but time and energy got in my way this year.  (Still I have a few ideas tucked away for next year!!)  I have managed an Easter wreath.  Yes, it is bunnies and most things that I don't like about commercialised Easter but as a cute decoration I do like it... maybe I should drop the Easter connection and just call it a decorative wreath?! I started off with a polystyrene blank, ribbons, flowers, butterflies and gems. As I wound the ribbon round the polystyrene I secure it with small pins.  I made a hanging loop and used a few pins to secure it to the covered wreath.  It is not at all heavy so it doesn't need glue or extra fastenings. I've used the rabbit animal silhouette ribbons in Baby Maize and Lime Juice and some sheer dot organza in Apple  - all of w...

CKC Round Up

Here are the last couple of layouts from my Counterfeit Kit for January... This is one that I like; Simple layering of two patterned papers, a few pieces from the cut part sheet ad a glassine bag with paper bows and sequins.  I've also used the two toned ribbon because it matched the heart paper so well.  (I made need to buy another couple of sheets of the grey heart paper!!) This layout I don't really like; It was my take on the wonky stripe sheet in the original kit.  It's a pretty good forge but I just didn't know how to use it.  Any way, I got a lot of the turquoise alphas used up!  You can see how I altered the j's in to i's, F's in to E's and Q in to O with a turquoise and white pen.  Also one of the A's used to be a V, but you can't really tell which.  I do love to stretch my alphas!!  It pretty much says it all... She is truly bad but she is the most beautiful bunny in the world, ever in the history of rabbits, so...

Friday Smiles

Linking this up at Annie's Fridays Smiles... Because my daffodils and my sewing machine and my bunny ribbon have made me smile this week!

Bunny Bum

Here is layout featuring mainly Gossamer Blue stash and, well, Daisy's bottom! It is a lovely bottom, I'm sure you'll agree.  And the pompom tail.  And the legs stretched back.  Love her! I haven't shown the alphas to their best - they are metallic rose gold.  I needed more than one pack as I fell for them rather hard!  I think I was inspired by a sketch but I didn't make a note of which one...  The peach scallops left a rather lovely navy dot 'un-scallop' which was just too nice to chuck away so it found its way to the bottom of the page.  I love double sided papers :) Crafty Ribbons Twelve Days of Christmas starts today.  I'll be joining in from tomorrow so stop by then to see some ribbon-y Christmas makes. Thanks for stopping by.

Another of my beautiful bunnies... I'm liking the green, pale pink and a pop of coral together.  Must use these colours together more often... A little bit of washi here and there...  enamel dots too. Gold roses - what is not to like?! I notice that occasionally I can make things that don't involve ribbon.  When this does happen there are almost always buttons.  I think ribbon and buttons are my all time favourite supplies :) Nearly done with sharing my CK layouts for this month, just one more to come tomorrow.  See you then!
