Ooh, I can't keep up!

More new ribbons today... check them out here . There is Winter Stamps, Winter Scene and Baby's 1st Christmas .  I've made a layout with the Winter scene ribbon but I haven't photographed it yet... maybe you'll see that tomorrow!! So project no.1 is a make up bag with ribbon added and a ribbon zip pull - just don't look too closely at the sewing.  I go by this motto - it's hand made therefore it's not meant to be perfect!  I see this full of nail varnish and nail goodies under the tree (for me!!) Project no.2 is a papier mache ball rolled around in paint (oh, how much fun I had :D ) and decorated with a pleated strip of ribbon. I'm entering this bauble in to  Creative Craft Challenges 2 whose theme is use ribbon. And project no.3 is a pair of socks for the little man's 1st Christmas.  All together now, 'aw!' Ribbons from here and buttons from here . Thanks for stopping by :)

NEW!!

Finally I can share! Ali has released some of her exclusive Christmas Ribbons today... I've had a play with some ribbon and cookie cutters to make some hanging decorations for Christmas.   They are rather yummy!  Check them out here...

Mini Madness Monday IIII

I have a few Mini Albums to share so I've decided to I'll share one at a time for a month of Mondays, so welcome to Mini Madness Monday IIII... Check out previous Mini Madness Mondays  here and here and here . This album is packed full of memories from my day out at Monkey World in Dorset .  If you've not heard about them they are a massive rescue and rehabilitation park that house many primates from all over the world.  They have breeding programmes for endangered species too.  The people that set the park up and work there are, in my opinion, angels!  They have done so much good work.  Anyway on with the album... The inside front cover has the map with our route highlighted.   The receipt and Who, When, Where, Why, What on the first page. Jim and Charlie... I wanted the viewer to pause on the Jim and Charlie page so I added a vellum leaf to the book Ahem.  My shop receipt! ...

I love it when you

On this layout I did some scribbly doodling... Added a load of random scraps and gesso-ed over them... ... and then misted. I even used corrugated card that I must have had for more than 10 years! And I used loads of alphas continuing my drive to not be afraid to use what I have. And this is how it turned out.  It's not necessarily my style but I like it.  I enjoyed the scribbly doodling but think I might use another colour next time - the black is so, well, black! I'd like to enter this at:   Inspire Me Fridays Thanks for stopping by :)

All White!

New challenge day at Crafty Ribbons Challenges! This week it's our Maja 's pick - All White - the only extra colour can come from an image or photo on your project. Gorgeous flocked card that I've had for yonks but not used. 2 grosgrain ribbons layered up on some ribbed card, all topped with 3 frosted hearts rediscovered in my 'big reorganize' A sprinkling of iridescent hearts - it's worth sticking them on individually :) Foam letters on a journalling tag for extra dimension. The photo is from 2005 and it amazes me how well I look... roll on some more of those days!! Made with white grosgrain in 3mm , 10mm and 40mm all from Crafty Ribbons . I'm entering this layout in to Thanks for stopping by :)
